We often get a question from our customers: ‘What is the difference between Pure CBD oil and CBD oil RAW?’. We understand that the differences between these oils can indeed cause questions. Therefore, in this article, we clarify that for you.
The Pure (isolated oil) and raw oil (full spectrum oil) are both from the same hemp plant, there is a small difference in the preparation of these two products. This difference comes from the way the CBD is extracted from the plant. We can bore you with a complicated chemistry story about how the CBD process is done, but we won’t bother you with this. That’s why we describe the difference between the Pure and the RAW CBD oil as easy as possible.
CBD oil RAW
The CBD RAW oil is created by CO2 extraction. This is a process that does not use solvents or heat. This method is used not only in getting CBD, but is used to extract all the necessary substances from plant material, e.g. like the oil is extracted from plants and seeds. CO2 extraction is a commonly used method of obtaining the CBD from the hemp plant.
A major advantage of the Co2 extraction is that there is no heating of the oil or components, thus enzymes and vitamins that are sensitive to heat are not lost. All ingredients of the hemp plant are kept. This includes not only CBD in the CBD RAW Oil, but also other cannabinoids, such as CBD-A, CBC, CBN, CBV and CBG. In addition, the terpenes, pigments and phenols are also retained which contribute to the composition of the RAW CBD oil. This makes the RAW CBD oil very widely used.
A disadvantage of CO2 extraction is that there is a very expensive method of getting CBD, but less expensive than Pure CBD oil, as it uses the entire hemp plant. In addition, the flavour can be a bit sharper and bitter than normal CBD oil.
- a dry vagina
- pain during penetration
- little or no sexual desire (low libido)
- male impotence (erectile dysfunction)
- pelvic floor muscles too tight
- inability to achieve an orgasm
- your partner is more/less enthusiastic about sex that you are
Pure CBD oil
The CBD in Pure CBD oil is recovered by oil extraction. With this extraction method, only the top of the hemp plant is used. In the top shoots, there are most CBD. This contrasts with the RAW version which uses the entire plant. This is also the main reason for the higher price of organic oil.
The extraction of the CBD is from the plant. This happens by way of heating. Due to this heating, all components except CBD will be lost. The percentage of CBD, which is on a bottle of Pure CBD oil, thus only concerns the substance CBD (cannabidiol) and contains no other cannabinoids.
The disadvantage of this method is that it is also a costly process, but because only the hemp plant’s tops are used, Pure oil is more expensive than the raw oil.
The taste is more enjoyable than the taste of the RAW oil. Where the CBD RAW oil tastes bitter and sharp, the organic oil has a soft nut-like flavour.
